Abstract
|

|
Syphilis of the nervous system is due to involvement of the nervous system by the Treponema pallidum(spirocheata pallida). The clinical syndromes which develop depend upon the extent of involvement of the parenchyma, blood vessels and meninges and are so diverse that satisfactory classification is difficult.
We are reporting on syphilitic leptomeningeal cyst at the cones medullaris with paraparesis, urinary incontinence and vaginal pain, and laboratory, pathological findings.
